When I think of homework, one word comes to the top of my mind: boring. For hundreds of years, it has been every student’s nightmare. However, this was not the case with my English homework for this winter break. We weren’t asked to memorize random words or sentences. Instead, we were given a few fun stories to read and some exercises to do. These stories covered various fields, including math, history, literature and so on. This made reading more interesting and I felt that it helped me stay focused. We were also given some worksheets to help us review what we learned before. What’s more, all of the homework was divided into daily tasks. This made it feel like a challenge and it helped me stay motivated. In conclusion, my English homework is fun and enjoyable. It helped me improve my reading skills, my ability to think outside the box and so on.
